An
Investment in a Historic Mission
.
A gift to Virginia United Methodist Homes,
Inc. (VUMH)
is a gift to our residents. Through the generosity of individuals,
churches, businesses, foundations, grants and organizations, we are able to provide additional benefits not covered by normal
resident fees.
A variety of
gifting opportunities are available through
VUMH. You may choose to support the Samaritan
Program,
assist with capital projects at any of our six communities, or contribute
to special programs designed to improve our
residents' quality of life. The Samaritan Program was established to help current residents who can no longer afford the cost of their care. This program is financially supported by local churches and/or their organizations, foundations, grants, associations, corporations, bequests, and individuals. Gifts-in-kind are also welcomed as well as Planned Gifts, which can
help support our important work for years to come. Any donation can be used to
memorialize or honor a loved one or friend.
VUMH offers
many Means of Gifting to
meet the needs of
our donors. No gift is too small and your gift may be tax
deductible under IRS guidelines. VUMH
is exempt from the
payment of Federal income tax under the provisions of
Section 501(c)(3) of the Federal Internal Revenue Code.
